“The Sustainable Diner: A Key Ingredient for Sustainable Tourism,” was launched in the Philippines this week. Led by The World Wide Fund for Nature, the campaign promotes sustainable consumption and calls upon Filipino diners to help transform the local food-service industry in the country. Its goal is to promote Filipino dishes using locally produced food in support of the local food producers.
According to Business Mirror, “The project is in partnership with the Climate Change Commission and is supported by the German Federal Ministry of Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety.” Read the full article: Filipino diners can help transform food-service industry–WWF.
